Seminar Leader: Rev. Dr. Arturo Pierre Lewis, Senior Pastor at Emmanuel Church in Ridgewood NJ, a specialist in Diversity Studies, teaches “Sociology,” at William Paterson University. A graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, Arturo Pierre Lewis also holds a doctorate from Drew University. He is a former semi-professional baseball player and radio host and serves on the Board at the Ridgewood YMCA.
Rev. Dr. Arturo Pierre Lewis is an Senior Pastor at Emmanuel Church in
Ridgewood, NJ, and a long-time resident there.
He’s a professional sports team chaplain, an inspirational speaker and life coach for schools and faith-based agencies through his non-profit organizations, Celebration Ministries and Celebration Education.
A graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, Arturo Pierre Lewis also holds a doctorate in Public Theology from Drew University Theological School.
Professor Lewis teaches Diversity Studies including Social Problems and Institutional Racism in America.
A former radio host and semi-professional baseball player, Arturo serves on the board at the Ridgewood YMCA. Arturo Pierre Lewis has dedicated much of his work to diversity and inclusion by helping others build and sustain equitable communities.
